ANDIESJOURNEY 11TH ANNUAL SOCK DRIVE

Hi there! Thank you for coming onto this journal page. If you landed here, you were meant to read this message!

Our small business wants to help out a beautiful and brave young woman named Andie Proskus, who has been in and out of the hospital due to a muscular disease and other chronic illnesses. When Andie was a kid in the hospital, she received a pair of socks that brought her a smile and comfort. This experience motivated her to start her annual sock drive for hospitalized children to bring them comfort and smiles.

Despite Andie’s challenges, she still has the heart and energy to help other children, which is very therapeutic for her. She went from collecting 100 pairs of socks and sending them to St. Jude Hospital’s her first year to collecting thousands of socks 11 years later and donating them to children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald houses. Andie hopes to reach a goal of over 10k for her 11th year, but she appreciates whatever is collected!

Last year, PAPPI contributed 342 new pairs of colorful, patterned, novelty, and fuzzy socks to hospitalized children as a collective. Who is ready to top that this year?!

We are honored to help Andie expand her sock drive by collecting and donating socks in New York.

All socks must be brand new preferably:

  • Colored
